Icelandic Extraction, Help!

Hi, as the topic says i'm from iceland and i cant get my hands on Naphtha or Shellite.. And i was wondering if someone here could help my ? I know that i can use Zippo, but it's waaay to expensive. I'd have to buy 64 of those 125 ml cans.

Does anyone here know about anything else i can use ?

Do they sell liquid White Gas in the backpacking and mountaineering stores? In the states naptha is sold as Coleman Fuel for camping stoves.

you can use sunflower oil, and then salt the solvent with acetic acid and water(vinegar)

One of those cans does me for at least two xtracts...and I can reuse...

but my main question is what plant are you using?? i have very little knowledge of the icelandic plants.. help a brother out?? :surprised

That Coleman fuel is good.

But I have one question for you. Why do you need 8 liters of the stuff??? Are you extracting a ton of plant material or what's up?

Coleman fuel is excellent. I myself have been using Q21Q21's Tek using MHRB as plant material. The Acacia species also seem to be growing in popularity since MHRB is hard to find in some parts of the world these days. If you want to use local plants for this purpose I suggest that you look into Phalaris grass.
