Identification of Cactus?

Hey guys,

I'm new here, and though I've thoroughly acquainted myself with the rules/attitude of engagement, I'm still a bit unsure about something.

My friend SWIM just recieved his shipment of Bridgesii cactus from xxxx vendor, and since SWIM is very new to identifying cacti, I was wondering if it is allowed in the forums to post pictures of SWIM's cacti (there's four individual 12-inch long pieces SWIM said) on here, to confirm the species and everything.

They look kind of dried out to SWIM, like they're old. SWIM sent me the pictures.

So, cool to post? and where? Or, is here fine?

SWIM is really excited to begin 69ron's tek!
It would also be useful for SWIM to get a definitive answer on how to powderize. There seems to be conflicting opinions in the forums about using heat and boiling on low mixed with water, after which the mixture is left evaporate.

Peace

Okay, so I'm really confused about how to insert an image. I can't click and drag the image from my desktop onto here. I pressed the icon above "insert image" and all I get is :

This must be perfectly obvious to some people, but I'm a bit naive here.

Peace

What you have to do is at the bottom of the reply text box, just above preview, post and cancel there is a check box for "attach files" you check that box, and then hit post, and then it will bring you to attach a photo directly.

If you are trying to link a photo, just click the photo icon in the format box above the text box that you type your reply into and then youll see
appear (could always just type it) and then insert the hyperlink to your image between the brackets.

i have a bunch of this cacti growing myself. unfortunately what you dont have is T.Bridgesii. if im right (going off someone elses opinion in chat) it is PC Pachanoi. in otherwords predominant cultivar san pedro which has a very low alkaloid content. i like mine, they are healthy, have grown fairly fast and look nice in the garden. its a pity there are so many scammers out there. i also got tricked on another type of cacti. but hey, we live and we learn.

someone please confirm.... - PC Pach?

Noooooooooooooooooo *in that darth vader tone at the end of Star Wars III*

Damn, that pisses me off. The guy had excellent reviews! And most of them confirmed ya-know in various ways. Are you absolutely sure? How can you tell the difference? Maybe post some pics to visualize the comparisons?

I mean it makes sense, I guess. Nemo tried the tea tek and felt nothing, and was mighty frustrated he downed the most fowl vile tasting liquid ever and felt nothing.

The next night, Nemo even tried eating half a foot. He was thirsty. Nothing. He detected maybe a hint of visuals a couple hours in, and felt maybe a little bit meditative, but as usual with Nemo, this can occur at will, so he's not sure if it was only in his head.

Poor Nemo.

Is it still worth Nemo trying the D-limenone tek (69ron's)?
He's got all the supplies.

Peace.

Yup, 100% PC pach. Doesn't mean it's useless necessarily - you can try running the tek to see how it goes for practice. If performed correctly, you should get enough for one decent experience I'd imagine.
