ok, now after fully drying it has come down in the 6 gram weights... so that goo(other alkaloids) must still be in the basic solution? any way i'm trying to figure out if this is basic crystals or dmt. it smells like dmt, not like goo, but i'm really scared of burning myself since it was accumulated between naphtha and basic.

you could try dissolving in acetone or ethanol and then dilute with water, rebase and then pull again?

As to the help the newbs part... i didn't realize how much of a newb i was since i've never had any issue with getting perfectly fluffy white spice from mhrb. Acacia has exposed how much of a one trick pony i was. So i'm happy to be a born again newb. It will only further my skills and knowledge not being able to just pick the low hanging fruit of mhrb, but the higher, more exotic acacia

ok it's not fluffy white, it's more chalky. not as crytaline as my mhrb pulls. also the bulk of the matter seems to still be goo. that 6 gram chunk seems to be about 1.5 grams white dmt and the rest is this strange goo.

I tried a similar xtract and everything looked perfect untill the final evap. The first batch turned a grayish white during evap, the 2nd turned a slight off white but I am having problems conducting a bioanalysis... it looks correct but just does not seem to be working/potent. Any advice?

01. I used 500 grams that I froze and thawed twice then boiled in 2000ml of H20 with 100ml of white vinegar I let this boil for 1 and 1/2 hours then transfered the liquid to another pot and started reducing it. Do this at least 4 times adding fresh vinegar each time. I did it 5 and found that the 5th boil was lighter in color. Anyway as your cooking fresh washes start reducing prior boils in a second pot.

I hate to sound like a newb but I am lol. Ive been browsing for awhile and this is the only part i dont get and cant find with searches. What does the reducing part of that mean and how do you do that. Didnt want to waste a post asking but I dont understand. Also do you collect everything in one container and then add the base and do the rest of the steps or basify each boil separately?

Reducing means simmering the solution to evaporate the water. You probably shouldn't boil it completely, just to be safe (although I hear the salt forms of these alkaloids are quite stable, even under high heat).

Reducing it basically just means boiling off the water to reduce the volume of the solution, which increases the concentration of everything besides the water. Once this is reduced to a manageable volume, it's put into an extraction vessel, like a glass bottle. You combine the boils and reduce them altogether. So you wouldn't continue to the basifying step until you've combined and reduced all the boils and added them to an extraction vessel.

ok i'm following this to the letter pretty much with another 500 grams. I just left the boil really low over night using asorbic acid so the smell was of just bark. I was able to get almost all the color from one boil. the second was much lighter. I have solid white naphtha on all pulls and i'm getting crystals crashing at room temp while just waiting for the soup to settle while pouring off... the mason jar has been sitting only 1 hour and already nice sized crystals at the bottom very happy with this tek.

Would a Sodium Carbonate wash right before letting the solvent sit for 8 hours help on removing unwanted contaminants or is it pointless to do in this tek as everything seems to be fine?

Yes. A soda wash right after a pull BEFORE you freeze precipitation or evaped will take out impurities. How much, depends on how precise your separations were. It really isn't necessary if you were careful, but it won't hurt either, just do it quickly.

yes i did. i tried cyb's tek with 100 grams of bark and got like 200 mg of toffee like goo. i was very let down, i have no idea what i did wrong. I then was having weird lucid dreams which i never have, i woke up at 2 in the morning and i just did the thick light tek. it reminded me of the scene in "no country for old men" when he couldn't sleep wondering how he was being followed. he jumps up and says "that can't be right" he then finds the transponder in the money bag. I just jumped out of bed, and knew there had to be a way to get good results. but instead of doing multiple boils i just over filled it past the usual amount so i could leave it on all night. i could of just got away with one boil but i only did two. the second was for about 1 1/2 hours. i then reduced on low heat... also i used 100% ascorbic acid instead of vinegar. not sure if that matters... i think it does as it's a cleaner acid. So the two things i did different was boil for like 6-7 hours and ascorbic acid instead of vinegar. I also just use tap water all the time.

i only have cleaned two containers of what has crashed out at room temp. I got over 2 grams of pure white crystals. I"m so stoked, this was my first snow globe! I have the remainder of the nap in the freezer and it's totally cloudy white. i have some crystals freeze preciping and then i'll evap the remainder i guess for the waxier stuff.

*ok i got a nice white waxy goo 1.25 grams from the freeze precip, i still have a huge cooking tray doing the final precip.... i'm going to try both of them today in the gvg.

i really look forward to more extracts. this is the exact same bark i got just goo from before. i love the goo but i want to have them separated as they have different qualities. then i can mix them in the pipe.

ok looks like i got excited a little too soon, i'm both bummed and perplexed... hoping somebody can provide some insight. I vaped about 40 mg of that pure white and almost nothing happened, but i could feel the body high, like harmalas almost. i then hit about 40 mg of the white goo i just got and felt more body load. I then hit about 40 mg off another suppliers acacia i extracted earlier, it looked more like the familiar golden dmt i get. it was a nice ride but nothing like my mhrb rides. Does anyone have any idea what these crystals could be. the trip isn't bad, it's just not really what i'm after.

* ok i just added about 30 mgs of my trusty mhrb powder and i didn't blast off. instead it came on very slow and the familiar carrier wave wasn't really present. the trip was more like aya in visuals. i'm still there. it lasts longer but is way less intense. anybody have any idea what this substance could be from description of effects and look?

* could those crystals be a form of salt from the salting? thus the "low to no" dmt effect? ( i just tasted them and they don't taste salty... have a bitter dmt like taste and slight dmt smell. i'm super confused)

I had similar problems, both in product and effect when concerning ACRB vs. MHRB. The ACRB final product is white and almost powdery, compared to the desired golden boy xtals. 40mg sampled of the white and slight body load, no lift off or visuals. I had to defat after previous extractions just to remove the "goo". Is there a way to condense (supersaturate) to produce familiar xtals and effect?

I just smoked 100 mg. of it and then it became active. not breakthrough but def. something. slight carrier wave and everything looks really psychedelic, but it's not like usual nn dmt trip. phantom fluffies? this is a dmt ride, just sub break through with so much product...

good morning and bumpity bump. i know this is a thread for getting nice crystals and nice crystals i finally did get. The only problem is i can't figure out what they are. they don't taste salty or citrusy so it's neither of those water soluble elements. But it's not strong dmt. But it is active and at large doses produces sub break through psychedelic visuals like an enhanced colors/light, warping, trails and oil painting like texture. Also the crystals are super light like asbestos, not firm like my mimosa crystals.

anyway i would really appreciate any help as i haven't been able to get my precious mhrb dmt supply replaced with anything from acacia.
