Im About to Give Up On DMT

Well I vaped a good bit of DMT today and I had some very very mild visuals off 40mg. This is getting annoying i'm not sure its even possible for me to break through. I smoked out of this and all that hapend was slight object breathing, I can't spend more cash on this stuff I had aya and that dident work out ether it tought me things but no visuals. I just really want to see some cool things its 75% of why I wanted to do this in the first place.

If you really just want to see some cool things, go to a 3D IMAX movie. DMT will be much more trouble than it's worth, if pretty pictures are all you want. (It's fine if that's all you want, by the way, DMT is definitely not for everyone)

If you're genuinely interested in pursuing it, make changa. That'll work, I almost guarantee it.

Agreed. A lot of the time it boils down to smoalking technique. With changa, it is nearly impossible to mess up the administration.

How many times have you tried, out of curiosity? Practice and patience really pays off. "If at first you don't succeed..."

How long did you hold your hits in for? That can also be helpful in regards to administration. I recommend you read trip reports and about DMT on the FAQ so you can learn more about what a breakthrough dose can be capable of (well, what people can put into words anyways.) Good luck!

Drink syrian rue or caapi tea, wait for it to kick in, and patiently use infused herb. Make infused herb with mullien leaf. Dissolve your spice in a small amount of alcohol in a shot glass, mix thoroughly, and add the mullien. Mix well and allow to dry. Hairdryer can make drying quicker just don't have it to hot or let it blow your stuff away. Smoke slowly out of a bowl once your rue has kicked in. Boom.

Im a little confused here about changa...

Ive been vaping straight DMt for quite a while not wanting to combust any material...

In my early atempts ..[just starting to use dmt]..Ive smoked DMT infused changa before by torching the whole bowl.....

It seemed to work...but I dont really want to inhale combusted material ...

Can changa be vaporized without burning the cappi leafe material?
Is vaporizing changa the correct way... because burning it also works??/ ??:?:

If vaping DMT infused changa works better... than im switching to Changa!

Yep, I just vape changa blends in a standard VG with a standard flame lighter. For me it seems to work better than when I used to use a jet lighter and sprinkle freebase. I got the freebase method down ok but changa is fool proof. You don't have to combust the mix you just vape it as you would anything else.

I get a wood skewer give it a stir and toke away until I see the herbs are all dried up then just empty and replace.

Indeed. You can load up your changa in your favorite bong and smoke away. I, however, like to put a small thin layer of inert/dry herbs on top to make the initial cherry...then I slowly but surely take the biggest/longest hit that my lungs will allow. Rinse and repeat until :shock:

Im not taking other drugs and I like DMT its just that it has never has taken me further than ive already gone of high doses of mushrooms. I know it could be more im just getting mad because I can't break through. I enjoyed the aya but it tasted nasty and is not something im looking forward to drinking again because of that. Idk im just getting mad i've still got 150 grams of bark to mess with so I may break through soon. Its just a break through is my goal and I feel like I cant accomplish it. But I tripped a lot on mushrooms and the low doses ive had from DMT would have been more cool if I hadn't seen them on mushrooms already. So if I take syrian rue orally and weight 30 min to smoke some DMT it will work out better? Part of the problem is I never get enough in one hit and after the second its really hard to move or light my lighter. Im on the verge of a breakthrough but its just out of my reach. The reason I want to breakthrough so bad is because its an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Also I have been smokeing jungle spice wich may have something to do with why 40mg didn't breakthrough

Funnily enough, you might not actually remember it at all! DMT is a bit funny like that.
If you can find some B.Caapi leaf then make some changa from that. If you can't find that passionflower or mullein should be readily available. Maybe try making a ratio of 1.25:1 (DMT/Leaf).

Besides that, relax! It's not a race to the finish line. I have managed a single break through in around a month since I made Changa. Previous to that I've been having a hard time breaking through too. However DMT generally shows me other astounding things about sensory input, visual perception etc. It's really amazing. Enjoy what it is giving you and don't forget to take the time to look at all the little things. You will get there in the end, its inevitable.

Lotta reasons why people pursue this stuff. Some spiritual, some curiosity, and some just want to see the visual art work.

I guess, my best advice for breaking through is that you must commit to the breakthrough, befor even packing the pipe. Say this out loud before vaping : "I commit to breaking through" and then go.... don't stop taking hits until your vision is so skewed that you cannot tell what is going on around you.

Also, vaping technique is important. Holding the hits in is important, but beyond ALL others, is the commitment. If you aren't committed to something, how you could expect the other party to do their part?

The frustration won't do you any good. also, what time of the day are you trying to vape? I have found that different times of the day are easier than others

Your post is fairly ambiguous. Not much description, so how could we possibly help you if you don't give us a reasonable description of your situation?

- what material did you extract from; and if you didn't extract yourself then what did the crystals you vaped|smoked look like (do you know their source)?

- you said that you've done ayahuasca and it didn't work? what was your method of brewing, the material used, and what were the amounts used for the materials?

Overall though, judging by your post - personally speaking - maybe you should just hang it up and move along, because based on your post and use of wording - this path clearly isn't for you.

You're in it for all the wrong reasons. Make better use of your resources and stop fooling around with powerful drugs just to see things. You have no real reason to use it, it seems, beyond mere curiosity and desire to see cool things...

Go see an IMAX movie. Leave the DMT for people who actually care about its potenial.

Perhaps the reason you are having trouble breaking through is because at this moment in your life, you don't need to, or shouldn't. Perhaps your product isn't as pure as it should be, your body requires higher doses, your administration technique is off, or DMT is simply telling you now is not the time. In my short experience with this, I have learned not to force things.

Sometimes it takes a while to perfect your technique. My girlfriend went through numerous smoking devices and countless failed attempts but she kept at it. And it paid off. It took her more than a month to get decent results but it did happen...with time... We make changa as our "go to" for anything DMT (besides that we drink aya)...

the spice does hav a spirit of its own it seems high doses havnt done much sometimes and low doses have.
Wrong reasons or not drink some rue wait for it to kick in and then vape.
Its not something to rush

It is a detailed discussion on how to breakthrough. It was created for folks having a hard time breaking through.

imo these problems are typically an issue of smoking/vaping technique. You have very little time to take the entire dose in before tolerance makes it coals to Newcastle. Try to get it all in in under 60 seconds. Try to make your first hit a big, deep one, and hold for as long as comfortably possible. Add screens to whatever you are using - stacks of them - the crisscross mesh traps melted spice and keeps it available for additional hits.

If you are mainly looking for visuals, refining your technique and/or trying a number of the suggestions here and in that thread I linked should get you there. DMT is off the scale when it comes to artistic pallette. But, I would also encourage you to heed the warnings here. I have found that DMT speaks loudly AND carries a big stick. Please take time to read the Heath & Safety link above, paying particular attention to the initial Warning.
