I know that when growing Acacias or Mimosa Hostillis that they are traditionally grown for harvest outdoors once they reach a certain height and I'm also aware that young trees don't have nearly as high of an alkaloid content, however I was wondering if would be worth it to grow perhaps an Acacia Simplex indoors to a height of 6 or 8 feet in a 5 or 7 gallon pot and then harvest it. Would the alkaloid content at that age be pretty much worthless given the amount of work it would take to grow ittothat maturity/would the roots not be able to grow sufficiently in that confined of a space?
