'Cohoba' is a name for a psychedelic snuff made of South American tree seeds; it may be another term for yopo based snuff;
However, interestingly enough, there is also a genus of trees of 'Cojoba', species of which are not well documented and produce bean pod structures, perhaps these may house a psychedelic seed? If anyone knows anything of the subject, please contribute, and I will continue to study them myself ..

I believe both words come from a sort of origin in a South American word for 'bean' or 'tree pea' that is a common seed type for the Mimosoideae trees

I spoke with a Curandero from Purto Rico. He had offered Cohoba in the ceremony which i couldn't take because of reasons*.
He said that his Cohoba was made by a tribe from SA which name i forgot, but it was like yopo but not as strong in terms of purging. I definatly remember him called the plant the Cohoba Tree.
Interestingly he praised it for its bone healing properties. Lots of bioavailable calcium in it.
Power food, he called it, like the other medicines.

* He brought Kambo, several Rape snuffs, 3 different Ayahuasca brews, sanango eye drops and Cohoba with him. I honestly tried to do all, but Cohoba was the last medicine administered and at that time i couldn't take more pain after the sanango rape' combo.
