Invited into the Snorkel Fish Dimension

This was a very rapid exit from past DMT experiences. It was a psychic tour of what I can best describe as a Snorkel Fish dimension. It was made explicit to me that this was a separate dimension and one that was new to my consciousness's experiences.

As our hero continues to explore with higher vaped doses, it's as if there are hosts for each level which explain ground rules and essential characteristics.

I shall endeavour to explore it once again.

I would consider yourself lucky that your hosts do any kind of explanation at all. Mine are usually too busy with making weird noises and putting on their magic shows. I've never been to that particular "dimension" but I know where you're coming from. "Snorkel Fish" sounds like something you'd expect to see as some cooky fish aberration in Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".

I seem to often have some kind of implicit exchange of understanding between myself and the entities I encounter. Not saying I understand everything, though. It's almost like echoes of moods conveyed to shape my experience and guide my interpretation of what happened. If that makes any sense?

Yes--I forgot to mention that you're pretty much spot on in terms of the sense of the entities I had. It was as if we were transported out of whatever "space" I was in from the first vaped hit. After the second one, it was like a ribbon of orange plasma spilled around me and took me to this other area.
