Irreversible MAOIs and smoked DMT?

Let's say I was taking an irreversible MAO inhibitor such as Nardil (Phenelzine), Marplan (Isocarboxazid) or Parnate (Tranylcypromine), do you think it could negatively affect a vaporized DMT journey?

I ask because I'm considering trying one of these medications for social anxiety (if my shrink approves that is) and just want to make sure this is a safe combination. I remember a post over at some social anxiety forum where a Nardil user claimed to have used LSD and psilocybin without any noticeable interactions whatsoever, not even potentiation or increased duration. I assume the same should go for other tryptamines such as DMT but I honestly have no idea. Anybody here know?

Using non-selective irreversible MAOIs with DMT could well result in an increased effect; the 3 drugs mentioned are unlike the harmala alkaloids or moclobemide in several respects, including the necessity to take them for variable lengths of time before a stable degree of MAO inhibition is achieved.

Thanks. I may have to experiment with my DMT dosage then (start low, etc.)

Yes I'm aware of that. I'm also under the impression that their way of inhibiting the MAO enzymes is somewhat different from the reversible MAOIs, am I correct?

Phenelzine also seems to inhibit GABA-transaminase and ALA-transaminase along with preventing the breakdown of several trace amine neuromodulators such as PEA, octopamine and tryptamine. I can't help but think that this could make the psychedelic experience more mellow if anything, especially due to the GABAergic activity.
