Yeah it can be dangerous but Ive had cleaning jobs were Ive gotten stuff like NaOH rocks in my eye so Im kind of used the burns. Not saying its smart but when I got nothing else I dont think twice about it.

I didnt think it would be good because Ive had a pump like the one pictured (not used for extractions) and the thing pretty much got cracks in it and fell apart just from me pumping it.
