Is growing mimosa feasible

Does anyone have any experience actually planting the seeds and growing and then extracting?

never grown it, but it will take several years before it matures into a small tree

so you're in Canada, eh? the climate doesn't exactly favor growth for this tree either

If you're somewhere warm with no large swings in temperature, or if you have a (heated) greenhouse you can grow them fairly easily. But if you live in Canada you won't have much luck getting them to survive through the winter - I had that very problem, plenty sprouted & grew well in the summer but didn't last through the winter.
