Is it ok to leave H2O+mimosa+LYE in bottle for some days?

Hi there. I'm going to do my first extraction, but because i'm going to a little trip from today untill monday morning, i wonder if it is a good idea to start the extraction process today, leaving the water + mimosa + lye together for 2-3 days, before using naphtha etc etc..
If it will not compromise my compound i'll do it, so these days will not be lost in vain..

But if you say that it's not a good idea i'll do everything the next week..

So what do you think?

If your bottle is of a material that is compatible with the chemicals being used, yes.

i've seen it left for 6+ months before so yea i think you'll be fine.. as long as its glass or HPDE plastic

Yes it is a glass bottle!
But, will it improve in some way my extraction, or it will be the same if i mix these things a couple of hours before adding naphtha?

I mean, if it's useless to mix water+lye+mimosa days before the extraction, i won't do it.

I've exausted extractions then pulled some weeks later and got more yield with an STB.

A/B extractions should have all alkaloid content ready soluble in the basic phase.

not sure about this, but I think the longer you leave an STB mix like this alone the more plant matter you will end up pulling with your pulls, yielding more impure product. If you re-X anyway then I suppose it doesn't matter and in that case I agee with soufood's observation.

^ yea if i was to leave the naphtha in there with it, even just overnight, it will be noticeably more discolored. Not something you can't clean though

but i should note that i have once in a great while gotten the 'black naphtha of death' when waiting days in between pulls. (its like mhrb gets micro-suspended in the naphtha and will not drop out no matter what). i'm not sure what the cause of that really is though and i rarely see it happening to others
