is it ok to mix two solvents like Shellite and acetone. i have dmt in it final form however i want to further purify the product. can i mix what shillite and acetone so i have enough the dissolve all my dmt

i also have xylene as well if that would be better to mix with shellite

No.
Acetone and xylene will both dissolve impurities too well, so you wont purify anything by using them. To purify, use only shellite/naphtha or equivalent (hexane heptane etc), or do the FASA way.
You only need 30ml warm shellite per gram dmt to purify it, check FAQ for instructions on safely heating solvents and how to re-x.
