Is this the correct place to ask about recrystallization techniques?

thanks for the response...

After the extraction naptha/ heptane wash... to recrystallize, is the process to backsalt then redissolve in solvent (which solvent) and then to slow cool to bring it back, filter/finish?

or what are the correct steps and or solvents to use?

I am going with:

300ml Deionized water
6g Sodium hydroxide
30g MHRB

Naptha
Heptane

(for the initial extraction)

or should a noob just start with a simple A/B. I feel a slight obsession with getting this correct.
I am doing this in dreams and they are telling me I am close. or am I delusional

1) You might consider washing before recrystallizing. This helps eliminate any remaining basic solution.
2) With the materials described, Cybs' Hybrid ATB 'Salt' Tek would be a good A/B.
