Islands in the soup, Help!!!

I’ve done several STB extracts but this is my first ATB. I’m using Vovin’s tek but I used Hexanes instead of nap. On first defat I’m seeing islands of white stuff on the surface of the purple (bottom of the Hexanes layer). Is this stuff I need to retain for next step or do I need to separate it? See pics

If it's acidic the alkaloids should still be in the soup layer and the solvent and whatever those are should be safe to be discarded, but I'm an advocate for not throwing anything away till you have a satisfactory final result.

Are those solid, do they feel like crystals or are they just bubbles/emulsions? If emulsions, you are safe to discard. If solid, I'd pull that off put it aside in a separate jar and observe if they dissolve into the solvent over time. If not, fish em out and see if you can determine what they are.
