I’m honestly unsure if it’s ready to consume (via tea administration) or if a tek is still required to get the most out of it. If it’s already a powder can i just put it into some tea bags and use it or..?

It's up to you. Have a browse of the threads in this very subforum. SP powder has been used as is and swallowed in various ways, brewed and consumed, brewed and extracted, or extracted from in various ways without brewing as such, the pinnacle of which is known as 'CIELO'.

The main issue with consuming it without an extraction (or at least some kind of analytical assay) is that you'll have no idea of how strong it is. If you decide to go that route you'd best start low and work your way up - at least if you have enough powder for that.
Finally, you should ask yourself just how much you trust the origins of that powder, both in terms of "ethical" harvesting and of possible contaminants, and maybe take up cactus gardening instead, or as well.
But seriously, grow your own cactus.
