I've got it.

Migrated topic.
Funny, this thread escaped my attention while I was away with the family... and we were suffering from covid at the exact same time. Not such a surprising coincidence given the circumstances at the time. I do recall that yoga and plenty of fluids was very helpful. There was an overwhelming feeling of being wiped out like many of the rest of you - sleep, sleep, sleep...
The weather was magnificent though and we were fortunate enough to be in the vicinity of some out-of-season deserted beaches so it was great to be able to wash out my sinuses with fresh ocean water and relax on the sun lounger.

The OP is pretty hilarious. In our case it took three days of being ill before a positive test came up :?

Wishing you a speedy recovery, VM - how many times have you had this thing now?

DF0, your bout sounds much more enjoyable than mine, though I can't complain since I've mainly played video games the whole time.

This is the second time that I definitely got it. There may have been one other time before there was testing available.

One love

In case folks don't know, there is, and has been for quite some time if you looked for it, evidence that low vitamin D levels are an extremely good indicator of having a bad time with covid infection.
One of the things that has frustrated me is the complete lack of medical advice to people at northern latitudes to supplement as a matter of course with vitamin D+K, as it is impossible to produce enough from sun exposure during winter months.
I snapped my femur clean in half in the winter of 2003 and had a femoral nail inserted. It took forever to heal, and they were talking about removing the nail and replacing it with a bigger one. Thankfully, this didn't happen, but at no point during my treatment did a single medical professional mention the importance of vitamin D in bone growth. Still grinds my gears to think of it.
There is evidence out there (not in the mainstream) of various things helping. Here is a journal article about quercetin, for example.
Stay safe folks.
