Joe doesnt let his fame and fortune silence his opinion on this matter. He doesnt give a flyin fuk what others think. I like him for that.

Joe is pro DMT and he says so without regard potential negative impact it could have on his career.

There are plenty of rich and famous out there who do all kinds or illegal substances and they would never step up and publicly speak out for it. Why is that? They are too worried about what others may think about them.

While we are all (or most, I don't presume to know everyone's status) hiding behind avatars in this little enclave called the nexus, Joe Rogan is putting everything on the line for something he believes in, despite the very real danger that his views could be disastrous for him. Hard enough to be courageous for those out of the limelight, but when the spotlight is turned on you, you are somewhat forcing the authorities' hand - that takes a great deal of courage.

Personally, i think the stumbling block here is insisting on an accurate answer to begin with. When contemplating the existence of machine elves, or god, or my own damn face in the mirror, what kind of answer is going to be "accurate" in any reliable sense of the word? If the voices in your head tell you the sky is called "blue" and they tell me it's called "sky," what we are disagreeing about is still the same phenomenon. The problem here is our words.

Have you ever had a good friend with whom you speak regularly, and your languages begin to reflect each other? When that happens, i feel that the depth of communication is increased, but the breadth is decreased. That is, those 2 (or more) people who understand each other, who use the same slang, who share all the same points of reference, are able to communicate better with each other, but are worse at interacting with the outside world.

With DMT experiences, we require a way to exchange knowledge that can get as deep as DMT goes without becoming too insular or esoteric. Some people use archetypes or metaphor as a language, others use science or sarcasm to describe what they are seeing. The truth is the entire human enterprise is available to use as a means of expressing our true nature.

I watched Spirit Molecule. It was OK with Rogan as the MC. I am not 'deeply intellectual' nor do I know biochemistry, so I can't argue the validity of various assertions that Roagn put into this video. However, I agree with Icehouse. At least this guy who is in the public eye has the balls to tell the public what his opinion is in the matter. I like that, and I think it is overall good.

On the other hand, I am not a fan of his comedy. I by far enjoyed Carlin much more.
 
If people have a problem with Joe spreading misinformation, maybe someone should contact him and tell him to check out the forums. He seems like a reasonable enough guy.
 
He can't be thát average if he manages to inspire us to having such a long discussion on him alone that spirals out to topic's such as homo-eroticism in roman-greek culture, assumptions about the pinealgland and social dynamic's applied to public opinion.:lol:
 
I compete in amateur MMA and do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments several times a year and believe it or not, I'm not gay.

My impression of Joe Rogan is that he is a good MMA commentator, nothing more and nothing less.

I watched the documentary yesterday and my friend who is a Ju Jitsu/mma fighter couldn't believe his eyes.

He seems to be on full evangelist mode now : )

What can his motives be for spreading the word be except good and pure? Good on him. The big question , did DMT submit him ? Off course he tapped : )

Off course, the unfortunate reality of the sick society we live dictates that any publicity of underground substances is bad and merely leads to legislation in every single precursor in the extraction of spice. Lets hope not.

This is a good 2 part link that I didn't know about until recently. Takes a few minutes to get into it. But he talks a little more regarding his dmt experience/s.

joe rogan good or bad, ofcourse good, hes one of the very few ppl in the public eye thats actually real, say whats on his mind and not give a fu** what ppl think. I think hes a huge part of the awakening movement going on around the world, many ppl are starting to wake up to the all the bullshit fed down their throats throughout their lives and starting to think for themselves for a change. he doesnt just openly promote dmt, he promotes mushrooms, weed, aya, freewill, a better way of life..i wonder how many ppl said hey maybe ill give that a try because of him, and start to question our corrupt government, religion,the way there living there lives.. The world needs more joe rogans, He is deffintly making the world a better place, long live ROGAN!
 
Joe Rogan is neither good or bad and he is both.

Unless one has actually met Joe Rogan and hung out with him outside whatever he's being video recorded for at the moment, there is now way to surmise what he's actually like or what he's truly about.

Having never met the guy, let alone hung out with him off camera, I've only ever been exposed to what has been scripted for me to see about him. There's almost no way I can get a feel for his true agenda.

I'd like to think he's thoughtful and respectful of spice. I'd like to think he's a positive force. But I'd like to think Salma Hayek is going to leave her husband and use me like a trampoline too... that doesn't give it any more chance of becoming a reality.
