Ever since I first joined the Nexus (I lurked for two days until the weekend when I could pass through the gate) and read the wealth of information here regarding dmt, I have been very curious about the full spectrum jungle spice.
100 grams of "Hidden Valley" mhrb was powdered in blender. 3x boils with a healthy splash of acetic each boil. Boils were strained through T-shirt, combined, reduced to 800 ml an placed in my 1000ml Erlenmeyer. Solution was made basic with 30 grams NaOH mixed into 100 ml water. Once based and properly black, 100 ml xylene was added to the flask. Shook and let seperate two times an hour all day long. By that night the solvent was so cloudy I could not see through it. Opaque.
I pulled the solvent and placed in one of my trusty corningware, which I left on the sill of an open window in a closed room. The xylene evaporated quickly, a little over a day. What was left was a reddish tan goo covering the bottom of the corningware.
Not that I mind goo, see the thread about all the acacia goo love. This batch though, since it contained (hopefully) all the alkaloids from 100 mg potent mimosa, I felt sure to see it crystalize in some way.
I was not mistaken. At first there were just a couple few circular crystal patterns throughout the mix. Every day now, they are growing in size and number. At this point there is more crystal than goop. Excited for the day it has all crystalized and is ready for the razorblade.
