I have a qwestion actuley a few. When it comes to a tek a friend gave me, no one will give me any info and hes in another country somewere so its come down too asking you inteligent people because I need to know for learning purposes and Ive been tring to find it out on this site for the past two hours reading non stop.when you have the MHRB and acid base step complete then youve added the nap and youve waited the time through all these processes, hes saying you put the sulotion that is in the macin jars in hot hot water, I want to know at what degrees does it need too be at? and how long does it have to sit in the hot water, and do you shake in stir when its done boiling or why its boling? ,how long do you need to stir and shake, and will this disturb the black sluge and when it comes too doing the shacking stiring what do use such as a utensol?or do you just keep the lid on and shake in swish it around?heres some more of the tec then you abstract the nap off the top with meat syringe and you are then deposting nap into glass container, freeze wait two days and then you filter and then you got good stuff.Thank yall for the time and info.

as far as hot water (when) i use a hot water bath i just use hot tap water 140F(60c) to 150F(65c)

it will need to sit in the hot water bath untill the liquid in the jar is about as hot as the bath

just wait till its finished warming completely before shaking (shaking trumps stur)

BOIL!! i highly advise against boiling industrial solvents thts bad news
i also advise that you do not use a hot waterbath on your stove again (FLAMES+SOLVENT=FIREDEPARTMENT)
get a dishpan or something

you only need to shake the jar for about 20 seconds let it seporate then shake again - i look for a color change in the solvent to know when i should seporate the solvent from the jar

yes it will disrupt the black slude - the idea of shaking is to mix the solvent with the sludge so the solvent can puckup the goodies

make sure the lid is air tight - as long as you have enough base in your solution shake the hell out of it


correct you would want to place the nap into a second clean glass jar and freeze it for many many hours then filter the crystals (save the nap) dump the filtered nap back into your jar of black sludge and repeat at least 2 more times

as a side note keep in mind if you dont get crystals after freezing you might wanna try to evap 50% of your nap and freeze again
