Kash's Advanced LSA Extraction-tartaric acid

Hi everybody,

I just bought some morning glory seeds (because they're easier to get for me then hbwr) and I'm planning to do this extraction. I just have twe questions about it:
In step 11 of the description of this tek on the DMT-nexus wiki, Kash says to "Sprinkle in a pinch of tartaric acid". Now, in step 3, he says to mix in "a pinch of citric acid".
My first question is: can you use citric acid again in step 11 in stead of tartaric acid? I'm asking because there is no easy way for me to get tartaric acid, and I read somewhere that in a bread recipe you can replace tartaric acid with citric acid. And now, before excitement all gets the better of you, my second and final question: if you can perform this substitution, will there be any downsides?

Tartaric acid is traditionally used for lysergic storage so that is what is recommended, but citric acid would probably work just fine. Tartaric acid can be found on amazon.

Ok, thanks for the info! For my first extraction, I'm going to try to use citric acid two times, just for the sake of experiment:wink: If it doesn't work out, I'll check amazon!

Hi there!
FOAF just get access to hbwr and some tartaric acid and would like to try the extraction but, after reading THIS he just started askimng himself if it's possible or anyway just add Tartaric Acid Saturated acetone to the evaping toluene in kash's extraction to make lsa tartarate precipitates out.
