Largest dose you've consumed?

Just curious. I'm working with dried Peruvian torch mostly right now. The most I've successfully consumed was a tar made from 4 water pulls from 75 grams. I felt like I could have gone a fair bit deeper.

Just kinda curious what the safe top end is for this kind of thing. I know it varies a lot based on the cactus. For the sake of comparison, I'm working with peruvian grown torch from Icaros.

so far ive never heard of anyone overdosing to death on just san pedro/achuma. infact i doubt it is possible to consume enough to do so without first trancing out/purging


extracted/concentrated compounds however are a different story, but ime still safe at even 2 grams of hcl salt

well, 100 g of my achuma would be..

500 mg mesc/ 10 g powder = 5g mesc / 100 g powder

yea i wouldnt go and eat 100 g of my powder, 35 was insane and not needing known again, atleast in the foreseeable future


do a little a/b on some of your powder and see the % that way you can judge better, or just incrementally increase your dose with the same powder to achieve a constant so your dose (variable) can be quantified

Yeah, it's hard to know about potency because of so many variables. I know that last time I took a tar reduction from 75 grams, it was nowhere approaching overwhelming, although I didn't real strictly observe the 0 calory thing (did take on an empty stomach), but had with some ginger ale, and ate an amazing giant mandarin a little ways in.

I'm guessing my chips aren't as potent as your powder, as for one they are torch, not bridgesii (not that that necessarily is true, but usually), and also once hydrated, I can see that there's quite a bit of white tissue as well as the green. I think it's basically everything except the core and skin. I understand that with your powder, you only fillet off the green layer.

If it was like the Data from RES then maybe, that was 0.12% fresh 2.0% dried, then 100g would be a 4 gram dose, that is a fairly high and potentially unpleasant dose.

At doses like that Huichol art makes perfect sense.

2ft of achuma, my first and only "real" dose of cacti or mescaline for that matter. Could have gone a lot deeper, is 3 really that much more intense? I'd love to try it 2 was beautiful and probably my most healing experience on anything but I definitely would have been good to go for MOAR!

My second experience was with 1ft of torch and I hardly felt anything.

2 feet was like a couple grams of good shrooms, 3 feet was like a couple grams of good shrooms with an maoi whilst quidding massive wads of salvia on LSD ...

I never understood why people measure cactus in feet. It seems absurdly inaccurate, considering the diameter between a thin young cactus and an old cactus can mean a huge difference. Why not measure it by weight? Makes much more sense.

Good point, doesn't make much sense except maybe a thicker cutting would have more core and water weight even if it didn't have much more surface area for the flesh?

Both times I have had cacti they were a little thicker than my wrist. Two feet was awesome but very manageable, I really felt like it would have been supreme if it had a bit more kick Can't wait for a three feet, but it's hard to find that much time now days.

I think I'd like to try you 800mgs over 4 hours.
However, 900mgs in 1hr is certainly to much for me.

For me a gram and a half of white mescaline over a twelve hour period...

Bridgisi rivaled this experience however...not sure how much was in that...

A very intense mescaline experience I had was when I took 400mg of mescaline and then did a "bottle wash" of LSD on the peak ...For those who don't know what a bottle wash is when you rinse out a freshly used empty lsd vial wth distilled water or alchohol and drink the resulting wash.. I also chewed on the little plastic dropper thing and I think that really got me....(it was a mini liquid breath mints bottle)

...(WARNING----do not ever do a bottle wash, it was not wise of me it could have been 10 hits it could have been 20 I was sweating it for sure for about two hours wondering if I just downed 25 hits or not???)

I figured I was getting maybe 6 or seven hits......in retrospect it was way, way more...
About ten minutes after I did the wash this voice said to me very loudly...
"Now lay on your back....I am going to teach you about yourself"

Although It came off as an akward proposition I knew It was the cactus spirits particular brand of humor so I did what it said...

I did not get up off my floor for four solid hours...


At one point I had to crawl to the bathroom in order to pee and it felt and looked like I was crawling through a subtropical technicolor ethereal jungle floor....

the trails were like the most persistent and all perfectly chromatic rainbow colors....


After my peak I watched that movie Apocolypto for the first time....I was IN IT for sure.


Even more intense was when I combined mesc with aya.....shorter duration though...

I once boiled up a very large amount of cactus, no idea on weight but it was about 15 feet of 3-4 inch thick cacti. I drank half of the brew... it was one of the most intense and visual psychoptic experiences I have ever had.

-1.5g hydrochloride salt, all at once, it lasted more than 12 hours for sure.

-40ish grams dried icaro chips brewed thoroughly into a tea, consumed 2 hours after 3.5g syrian rue seeds

-1 piece of LSD blotter (estimated 150 mcg) followed by 950mg hydrochloride salt

These be the three most intense experiences with the cactus.

Also good is the combined thingy of rue, followed by small amount (10g) cactus tea, followed by the mimosa tea. the cactus lends a very stable unworried mindset, and reduces the traumatic tendency of mimosa, leading to much experience of love and light.
