Learning to play guitar and sing at the same time with DMT

Hola,

I have ben playing the guitar for quite a while but have always had lots of trouble playing guitar and singing together...as in at the same time. For what ever reason I could just never seem to do it and so I gave up on even trying for years.

In the last several months I have been trying to use sub breakthrough doses, changa and ayahuasca to help me on this quest. I found that it seemed to become easy rather quickly with the assistance of DMT and the aucustic guitar(usually I play electric). I still am fairly terrible cuz I'm new with aucustic and like I said I'm still getting the hang of it...

So if any one is brave enough to listen, here is me trying to play a Bob Dylan song, also my recordin equipment is pretty lousy so... be warned

it definitely takes some practice. Especially with certain songs where the lyrics have sort of a counter melody to the guitar rhythm.

I've slowly worked on this for years, singing and playing at the same time.

One thing that really helped me is getting a ukulele. there's less pressure with a uke, you know? I still play the guitar....but with the uke, there's less pressure to be awesome with it, I'll just strum around, focus more on the singing. I still play guitar and I'll say my guitar + singing has definitely improved since getting the uke.

Next I plan on sharing some of my electric guitar stuff, I'm a bit more shy about that but I'm just learning to break out of my shell a bit.

Speaking of guitar.... Here are a couple tracks that I've done that have me on the guitar. All the other instrumentation was done by me as well. There are a few samples but mostly live instrumentation with chopped/sampled drums and synth bass.

Freestyle 5am blues

FYI i am NOT a singer. lol. I was up super late one night and recording this song as a freestyle. Just said whatever came to my head. lol. Then i layered some simple acoustic lead and backup vocals and piano over it.

The beginning of this one got cut short somehow but i basically took a different approach on the guitar on this one. I sampled myself on the guitar and then chopped it up and layered it back in over the drums in a sort of hip hop style. There is some rough lead at the end.

Just thought i'd share as you are the first person i've seen talking about making music, specifically guitar.
