Let the fruiting commence!

Migrated topic.
Puerto rican has to be swims fav. Swim usually sticks with that.
In fact swim just inoc'ed some jars with them a few days ago.
Mushrooms are beautiful to watch grow. Their life span is so short but so meaningful :p

My unicorn just has the pr's left to do after today, he just did the GT's. Obviously everyone loves the pr's for the reason we are all aware of, they are SO MUCH FUN TO STUDY UNDER A MICROSCOPE(wink)!!!

Thats more than likley the strain that will continue after this, unless something else is producing quality microscope material for him to do research on.

It seems like a lot of you are growing. You should post some of your trip reports if you can remember enough to get a few paragraphs out of it. I'm sure it'll be a great read!

If you check earlier on this thread. About 5 or so posts back SWIM gave his trip report on the Lipa Yais SWIM had grown. Him and his friend both took around 2.5 and it was an absolute crazy time!

darkshaman what can you tell me about jalisco..there isnt all that much around..and hes dying to learn more about it

yo, sorry homie. just barely noticed this post.

basically, from a mycological standpoint: ps. mexicanas are generally finicky when it comes to fruiting. they will, however, fruit using fairly basic methods (i.e.: birdseed or rye grain colonies cased w/ straight vermiculite), although better results may be achieved by colonizing manure/straw spawn bags & casing w/ noir in the mix. you can expect fairly small yields (at least in comparison to cubes) of thin, tiny mushies, however, don't be fooled by appearances as these particular snacks pack a much greater punch than that of even the most potent substrain of cubensis. much controversy exists in the underworld regarding potency comparison with pans, although my extensive research experiences involving pan cyans, pan trops, and of course the legendary Jalisco mexicanas has shown me that mexis can be much more potent. gotta run, late 4 class, but lemme know how it rolls, know'm sayin'?

Yeah SWIM gave a friend 2g's of Lipa Yai's and took 2.2 g's and the friend had only taken LSD twice and the shrooms were a much more spiritual and energizing trip than any LSD. He felt so connected and he and SWIM didn’t talk for almost 45 minutes just stared at the clear night sky or at the amazing fire that kept us warm. Most connect they have ever felt to this great planet, and all of nature. oh and SWIM's friend couldn't help but smile the biggest smile of his life.:d

i inoculated my first ever brf jars last sunday night(ecuador strain) and the jars are almost fully colonised already, verry exiting stuff.
ive been advised to let them sit for a week tho in their jars before birthing.
ive already started learning more about casing and using grains but for the time being i will stick with the pf tech.i also made a liquid culture for future grows,i cant get a hold of petri dishes,so i just tryed my hand at making it in a jar using sterilized water and honey, ill test it for contamination on a little 50 gram widmouth jar i have,im thinking it will colonize realy quick.ill post some pics when i start the fruiting.

Well SWIM and a friend are taking SWIMS Lipas' tonight! First time SWIM took his Lipas, he only took 2g's and boy ohh boy! What an amazing time!
SWIM and a friend are going out to this pond out in the middle of the woods and are planing on taking them right around dusk and into the night :)

The valley where SWIM goes is soo peaceful and not people or anything around for miles n' miles.

PS: SWIMS Koh Samui's and Cambo's are fully colonized. 12 Jars total :d Will post pics!
