Hello community,
I recently made a light bulb attached to a bottle peice and it’s pretty good but it’s just tricky to vaporize it. I believe I wasted a lot of dmt because I see left over sticking on upper part of the bulb. I decided to go with this device because of the smoke build up. Idk I feel nervous when I don’t know if I’m getting the hit. I like it because i feel ready when I see all the smoke and I just do it. However I haven’t been successful with actually having a breakthrough. I been only in the second stage. I don’t smoke Buddha anymore because it’s not helping me. Plus I always had a hard time holding the smoke when I sandwich it but it did get the job done I believe. The peice that I made i feel pretty proud of but the dmt keeps running away from the heat on top till it gets to the plastic bottle. Any advice on a device I can use to break through and get the job done. I wasted like .2g of dmt already and it’s not worth it.

Did something similar with a light bulb, results are mediocre.
Too much puffing no effect or very mild one, heat source used Bosch GHG 630 DCE heat gun with an lcd display temp control. Tried to heat the bulb from below, at temp 150/160 C the pool of liquid dmt began to vaporize, however it was mild and most of the dmt was in liquid pool. The vapors were not harsh to only slightly harsh, raising temp to 190/200 resulted in fumes which were very harsh provoking hard coughing.

From investigating on the nexus about light bulb usage it was deducted that it is not an effective method of dmt vaporization.
IMHO an even transfer of heat through all of the dmt at once at the vaporization temperature must be achieved for smooth vapors.
I want to experiment using steel wool to hold dmt while using the heat gun at the right temperature, maybe something similar to Volcano vaporizer but using a 1 gallon plastic bottle
with a hole drilled opposed to the neck so air can escape and give room for vapors.
ATM dont have coarse steel wool, only 0000 which is pretty fine and inhaling steel fibers is a concern.

When I was a teenager we smoked speed in lightbulb pipes like this. These days you can go into any gas station convenience store in the PNW and buy a meth pipe for $3. I feel that for spice a glass pot pipe with brillo in bowl is a much better method.

I made the machine but I feel disturbed of the stainless steel scrub that I’m using. The smoke taste different not in a good way. The lightbulb method I attached to a big bottle on the bottle neck and I watch the smoke build when I vaporize it properly Its super smooth. but I haven’t been able to breakthrough. But I’m thinking about going back to the bulb method.
Is the gvg good what are the pros and cons?
