Low Yield?

Did my first extraction. On the first yield of the first pull using the Dankville method, I only yielded around 80 mils. I later noticed that my freezer was not on the lowest setting, which I changed, but it is still pretty damned cold anyway. Is this normal? What else can I do, or is there too many variables involved to give a precise answer? I followed the Dankville method precisely.

For some reason with my pulls i notice that my first pull doesn't yield nearly as much as my other pulls. try to do a few more pulls and see how it goes with a colder freezer. If that doesn't seem to work it may be that the solution just isnt concentrated enough which means you'll have to evaporate some of it before putting it in the freezer. If you're using MHRB then the yield should be around .057%, which is about 1g every 100g of mhrb. Hope this helps.

Isn't 1 gram per 100 grams 1.00%?
