I've read several TEKs on the preparation of cactus tea and compared to the information available on brewing ayahuasca or making mushroom tea these TEKs are a bit harder to find, especially for fresh cactus.
My plan is to de-spine my Peruvian Torch and then cut it into slices which I divide up in wedges. I remove the white hard center of the cactus since this is said to contain no mescaline and then freeze the wedges and thaw them for two or three times(is this really necessary?) and then blend the wedges to a pulp. I will then boil / simmer the pulp in two or three boils 2 hours each, combine the teas and reduce them to a drinkable volume.
I'll probably make jelly out of the tea for easier consumption. Any errors in my approach?
