Making changa with caapi Resin 15x, bad idea, good idea?

Flyaway

Rising Star
Im gonna make a few grams of changa from my spice i´ve extracted. Im was looking for ways to extract Harmala from syrian rue seeds since i live in EU and here they dont sell it. I thought it would be more simple, but some of the chemicals i would need i cant even get here in my country, and i really dont want to start making my own harmala right now. I have some other stuff that need my attention.

So while scrolling around on headshops i found this 15x resin caapi extract. Should´nt i be able to infuse say 3-4 grams of whatever herb with this stuff to make a pretty good substitute for hermalin HCL? Then with some calculation be able to make a pretty good changa mix along with my usual recepie of passionflower, blue lotus and damiana? '

Anyone have some knowledge about this caapi resin and potential usae in changa making?

You don't need more than household ammonia and vinegar, really. It's sure that you can get those.

Also, I can assure you that you can get pure harmala alkaloids in the EU, but discussion of sources is not allowed here.

Probably not. Caapi has a much lower concentration of harmala alkaloids than rue to begin with, and those 15x, 30x, etc. caapi extracts are known to be very inconsistent and often weak. You probably would have to extract the resin, and the process would be basically the same as for rue seeds.
However, you can try to use it directly and report back whether it works well or not.

By the way, it's possible to make changa using caapi leaves (and shavings) directly, so if you have access to those you can try that too.

Are you refering to a tek that only uses Caapi leaves? Whats the name of the Tek.

I found that aswell, but the prices for one gram of pure harmala HCL was way over my budget

I just searched and there are like, 100 suppliers in China who claim to sell harmine. I can't give you links because of the sourcing rule, but here are the CAS numbers

I would not trust those china vendors at all though.. But maybe it isn´t as expensive all over then i thought. But 1 gr for 30 dollars is way to much. Would need to buy for 250 dollars whitch i dont wanna spend on that

There are cheaper options, but it's on you finding them. And yes, I agree, it's expensive, but it still may be cheaper per gram of alkaloids than the caapi extract.

Try the extract if you want, maybe it turns out to work well, who knows. Other than that, your options are extracting (a lot of info in the Nexus and the wiki about it), using caapi leaves, or buying the pure alkaloids (and nothing more specific than what has already been said can be said about that).
