Here is an oil painting i recently finished, it needs a couple touch ups once it dries, but for now it is finished, and really just needs to be stretched. Tell me what you think. I thought of maybe putting more work into it, such as adding small details to make it look cooler.

Hopefully i will produce some more mandalas and if i do this is were they will be Enjoy :)

Here are some older mandalas floating around the forum.
Two Mandalas in Pen

Wonderful!
I love the colors and the symbols :)

Did you use tape or anything for the lines or are they free hand?

Its free hand, i have used tape for acrylics, i was not sure if it would work out with my oils cause if you ever used oil it takes a little bit to dry, unlike acrylic which dries almost instantly.

Good point about the dry times I didn't even consider that.
That is awesome very clean.

You're art is quite beautiful. I especially love the mandala third eye. That one has such a beautiful composition, and is quite a powerful piece.

Those desert pictures are very nice, too. I lived in Arizona and Utah in my younger years, so the desert's romance is quite strong in my mind.

Thanks for sharing your work, kind Doctor!

Wow thank you for such a nice complement, i think out of all the the painting's i have done this one could be a favorite.

I think most of the paintings i have done, have come directly from the Mind, This previous painting

Which i have labeled Meditation, Creation, This one definitely came from the heart, at least this is how i feel.

Thank you soo much for the compliments, I really do appreciate it, considering i see myself as a mediocre artist, only hoping to get better ofcourse, and that you can only obtain with practice. And really the compliment only aspire to make me want to create more, and share more so please all kind words are accepted, Credit cards are not.

This is a piece i was inclined to make sometime in October, It's basically a Spiral constructed with Tabs from Cat food Cans.

Lately Being the starving artist that i am, it's not always easy to obtain materials such as Canvas and frames to stretch it on.

So i have been trying to step out of the box a little and constructing art basically with Recycled, and or Recyclable material, and this one of them.

Very clever! Sinuous and high tech looking. If you want to take it further, try bringing it into a dark room, lighting it from different angles with colored lights, getting crazy closeup pix...

This describes myself perfectly. I couldn't have said it better! I feel you man.😉

I really like your can tabs work. I love work that takes seemingly useless things and makes something of novelty or use from them. You never know where that might lead!

My friend collected all of his beer can tabs for years for some reason. They just sat there in a bin..... waiting for someone to do something like this.
