It's pretty much only a matter of time now before someone finds away to insert THC and related genes into other flowering plants. In fact I'd be shocked if something like this isn't done in the next 10-15 years.

I wonder what made them decide to use purple kush over any other strain. How cool would it be to see other psychoactive plants also infused with THC?!

there was a story some years ago of a professor at some american college who genetically modified some citrus tree so that the fruit contained thc.
there was some confusion as to the authenticity of this story, but i personally doubt it is real.

it certainly would be interesting though
