Hi,
swim has always made acetete with nice crystals and an average of 1.8% full spec. yields.but he has noticed that more experienced swimers advocate for hcl, he wonders why.He has a bottle of 36% hcl , please let him know about dillution ratios if you think he should try it.kind regards to all.

i would LOVE to see pics of crystallized acetate.(edit: otherwise it didn't happen!)

some of us experienced folks recommend sulphuric over hydrochloric.
the excess wont evap away(like acetate...) the way hcl will is all.. so careful titration is needed(like with the acetate imo)

yeah crystallized material, but not crystals...

hcl "crystals" can look like that, but when you scrape it up, does it still look like crystals? is it a white powder? no

wow, guess it cant get any purer...

there is some trace of impurity left over...this is kitchen extraction, with no fancy gear.
99+% mescaline, less than 1% of something other than mescaline (according to a foaf w uni lab access)


i'm impressed with your results though, where did you source the acetic acid used?
