this has nothing to do with dmt.

if you have a tongue piercing with a metal bar in it, you may want to really consider switching it to acrylic. all of that 'propaganda' about tongue rings being bad for your teeth is actually very very true. i dont have a tongue piercing anymore but i did a few years ago and just recently was shown a really close xray of my teeth and the molars have a bunch of little nicks in them from that stupid piercing. it will cost a lot of money to get fillings too.

I totally agree with your warning, elru.

I have had a metal tongue piercing for about 10 years and my teeth are so messed up now. I used to have a bad habit of actually chewing on it... stupid, right? Well, i did the whole braces and retainer thing before having the piercing and all that work has gone down the drain. They don't look too bad, but one tooth has shifted and has moved slightly forward and my teeth are uber sensitive all the time.

I guess it's time i switch to acrylic... ten years too late

I agree. I had one for a while and during that time managed to break off an entire quadrant of one of my molars. That really hurt too. Since then I split my tongue so I have no need for a tongue piercing anymore. I have been thinking about getting a small piercing on the regrowth however.
