MHRB oral dose experieces?

hey all, don't know if this has already been discussed elsewhere, but i'd be interested to know if anyone has tried an oral dose of MHRB WITHOUT an MAOI? according to this it works: http://erowid.org/plants/mimosa/mimosa_info2.shtml

SWIM's cat has done about an ounce of MHRB brewed w/out any MAOI, and had only threshold effects, but then learned that juerma is traditionally prepared as a cold water infusion. The cat has not yet tried it this way, and is reluctant to waste more bark. Hopefully someone else has.....

After reading Ott's report a friend tried it out. The experience was definately above threshold....came in waves...lasted for several hours. It did include a purge. It reminded my friend of a light aya experience. My friend drank a cold water extraction using a little over an ounce of bark powder.

that's crazy to achieve those effects with 28 g of unprocessed bark w/o an maoi. swim will stick to the spice for now but will try a cold infusion once he has more bark....
