MHRB Turned into a Meringue?

I'm following the GordoTEK... tek. I started with shredded bark, which I partially powdered in a blender (I say "partially" because the blender really struggled and I just gave up and ended up with some powder and some shreds).

I ran it on low speed in a mixer with the recommended amounts of vinegar and water.

After 40 minutes when I checked it, I found that a ton of air had been incorporated and the whole thing had the consistency of a meringue or souffle.

Has anyone else had this happen? Could some sort of contaminant have gotten in?

I'd just add a little more liquid and let it settle, once your base goes in I doubt you'll see anything you'd want to bake with!
