So I've done an extraction, and have been apprehensive about trying it myself, mainly because I'm afraid that I might do something dangerous during the experience.
I have a few friends who were interested in trying it, and after which they said my fears were unfounded because they believe that during the experience you are incapacitated to some degree.
The other day I let another friend try it, and during the peak she slide off the couch onto the ground, started sliding around, kicking her legs and flailing her arms yelling, "I can't do this", and I had to restrain her to keep her from breaking anything or hurting herself, and it took all my strength. When she was "back", she had no recollection of that happening.
So this is exactly the same thing I fear for myself -- being physically mobile during the experience, and potentially hurting someone, myself or something.
How common is this, and is there any way to prevent it beyond a straight-jacket or being tied down?
