I recently watched a lower budget film called "frequencies"

It started off a bit lame but really picked up nicely, has to do with human manipulation by means of sound. Throw in a little love story, neat philosophical dialogue and it makes for a decent sitting I would recommend. Kind of reminded me of "upstream color." The use of sound reminded me instantly of icaros as well.

Its on netflix for anyone interested

Took My nephew to see Big Hero 6.

Just watched Linklater's latest "Boyhood". Absolutely fantastic, one of the best movies I've seen in quite a while.

Just saw "Jupiter Ascending" by the watchowski ummm.... Siblings now?
This was a spectacular film, but I can empathise will people who will inevitably think the exact opposite.
It has an un-orthodox structure that simply places you smack bang in the middle of this universe that is surprisingly fresh considering the abuse of the genre of late.
I plays more like long form television a la game of thrones.
And the underlying plot points, modalities and themes are remarkably plausible.
I highly recommend this to anybody who enjoys anthropology.

And smoke a little Mary beforehand for complete immersion and validity.

Once again the watchowskis have exceeded expectations, let's home they don't f*** the sequal.
