Just thought I'd write a little thank you note to, basically whoever here reads it. This forum guided me through every step of the way, from obtaining supplies, to extraction, to knowing what to expect. I've been taking it nice and slow, due to my go-it-alone strategy and not being in any particular hurry. I've just returned from my first true breakthrough.
I used a home-made pipe and some brown goo spice I extracted by following the Q21Q21 tek. I took really low doses the first few times, with increasingly more substantial effects, but no breakthrough. I found these all to be very pleasant. I had been listening to a track on youtube called "Norma - Icaros", which really kept me grounded and calm.
Tonight I took a much larger dose. I debated if I should go with silence or the music (I found Norma-Icaros part 2 on youtube) and opted for the music since it had been so nice to me in my sub-breakthrough trips. I told myself that if I was still conscious after the first hit, do it again. The first one was big and the room got that fantastical tinge to it that I had been becoming familiar with from past experiences, so I tried again. I was quite out of it, and I couldn't quite remember what I was supposed to do, and the lighter was sending dazzling sparks all around me. I got a mouthfull of vapor but started laughing. So I mustered my senses and tried one more time, and bingo.
Nothing really to put into words here... I had no thoughts I had simply become spirals of color (the orange really stuck out for some reason, I think I was surprised to see it there) with indescribably intricate detail. But the music was playing and at first I thought it was some incomprehensable (alien?) language (no, as it turns out, it was just Spanish, haha.) But it started making me have thoughts as I tried to figure it out, and I realized that this meant "I" was coming back, which was fine.
Then she started singing "muchas gracias" over and over, and oh man... it was the most sincere thing I have ever heard. The music and the singer were making a pool of pure love that I was a part of. I was swimming in pure love, which is the only thing that can come of such a sincere "muchas gracias". It seemed like muchas gracias was the only thing there really is to say, after it all.
When I came around I was really curious about what it would be like without the music.
