multiple rounds on a single dosage

I experienced this now a couple of times.

Every time I start to inhale for the first time pure 40-50mg DMT in my GVG I plan to do it once.
After two long hits, the first trip is pleasant, bliss,.. but especially the last time, a bit of seeing the same movie twice.
When I come down halfway, really slow, body sensations really good, like waking up after 12 hours of sleep, I feel the urge to take another hit (from the same initial DMT dosage)

This second trip is often much much intense, then the coming down also takes a bit longer time, which I appreciate so I have time to 'think' during the relaxing phase.

Then, often I inhale the rest of what I think is left in the pipe, and I get the same experience as the first time, although now the experienced is clouded with a soarer throat (because of inhaling 3 x 2 times) and visuals are more coarse, not refined as the first time.

So, everytime I'm surprised that I can trip 3 times (2 mild, one intense) from one dosage of 40-50mg!
This all takes around 30 min. time.

Secondly I'm wondering how I would experience this dosage if I could take it in one time.
Normally I cannot take more then 2 hits per time, and if I take too much air or too dense smoke I cannot hold it inside so, I'm still figuring this out.

Anyone the same experience in smoking one dosage in multiple 'rounds'?

40-50 in a GVG does, to me, sound high! I understand everyone has their sweetspot and tolerance and whatnot, but IME and from what most others have said here, 25-30 with a GVG is breakthrough territory.

Have you ever tried like 15mg in one hit?

One hitters are WAY outside the realm of predictability and can send you somewhere beyond anything you thought possible.

Ive found too that multiple tokes per dose definitely bring up the trip much more mildly. say a 20mg dose over 3 tokes is like a slow wind up because by the time youre going back for the second or third toke, the first toke of likely 5-10mg is already being cleared out by your system.

Personally if I partake and then come down, and then attempt to go back in and finish what, if any is left in my GVG, its a very unwelcoming feeling. Dark, unfriendly and malevolent. I tend to stay away from going back after my initial come down.

I've had that happen to me before, usually I vape 1 hit 25-35mg (which is extreme imho) Although sometimes a bit too much will trickle out of the vial and I'll have to go for a second hit after the peak. I think at most it's 10mg but it's enough to send me down some of the deepest wormholes in hyperspacial existence!

Ok, that's why. I read several times 40-50mg is normal, but I guess if done in the right way, much less is sufficient too.

So now I use at least 5-6 tokes to finish the 40-50 mg. first 2 tokes, then after coming back again 2 tokes, then for third time only one toke, and then it seems that the spice is finished.

I'll try with half the amount and to do one hit, still need to practice to use the GVG.
Flame far/close, inhale slow/fast etc = multiple variables.

Yes thats the one thing with the GVG that can throw a curveball is the inconsistency between uses. BUT, one trick I finally figured out, to get DENSE, and Im talking DENSE vapor in that little fella, breathe very strong and intently in while heating your top ceramic elementand the inside of your gvg will look like a cloud is trapped in it. Thats really the secret to getting one hit out of the GVG. Slow and steady will draw vapor lightly and slowly, but you need one huge solid gulp. Like you were about to hold your breath to swim underwater for a minute straight and needed every bit of oxygen you can hold.

I do this too... if the screens on my bong are old or have burnt residue, the follow-up chaser trip is hazy and darker... but not in an evil way, just a colour thing. I get the feeling I'm in Harlem, in the 20s, at a jazz speakeasy. These secondary trips are full bodied, but not as deep or visual as the primary one.

Yes, I remember now seeing the flame sucked in more when breathing in harder, like creating a vacuum above the pipe. That will increase the heat inside the pipe, so evaporation will be faster.

Interesting, you 'blame' it to old screens or burnt residues.
I felt it was because of increasing throat discomfort due to 3rd, 4th, 5th time inhaling. And that discomfort colored the secondary trips. First trips are more like beautiful landscape, rooms, art, heaven scenery. Secondary are more chaos, tentacles, not evil, but crazy mayhem. :shock:

Each person reacts to this substance differently. And each dose is often different for the same person. I have found that I have a higher tolerance to DMT than most. I usually start at 50mg for blastoff and 20-30 mg for mid-somewhat heavy trips. I always use a GVG and although I have toyed with the idea of multiple times, I have only ever done it in one full, complete hit. The highest I've been was 70mg in a single hit on the GVG and the effects were not such that I needed to poop my pants or anything like that.

With all that said, I have "accidentally" blasted on a single toke at 35mg--it's just that every dose will be different.

I will often do what you are doing by taking a small dose ( Around 20mg) then once the journey is finished I'll reload 35mg, then after that I'll do a 45-50mg dose. I have never taken a partial dose and then hit it again after coming down though. I would worry that the melted spice that isn't vaped in the first toke would run down the stem. How many screens are you using when you do this three hit sessions?

I only took a partial small dose (I calculate it's small because of the three trips on 40-50mg) because I wasn't able to take in more than this partial dose in 2 hits, maybe because i inhale too slowly and my lungs aren't bigger.

I use a steel-wool mesh and 1 screen. Only one time it happened that melted spice ran down the stem. I read somewhere else that when the mesh is too thick, the evaporation will also be slow and air flow difficult, so next time I'll make it thinner.
