Ok SWIM's been trying to cultivate p. cub. mushies for about a year and a half, with constant failure rate. After ironing out a lot of the mistakes, SWIM has recently been contam free, but also mycelium free, meaning that while there were no contams, there was also no mycelial growth. Due to having a hard time getting p. cub. spores, it is very expensive for SWIM to get hands on moreof these kinds of spores.

So the idea for SWIM was to get some legal mushroom spores (which can be sent directly to SWIMS post office box) and practice innoculation and cultivation with another type of mushroom until SWIM has learned and mastered the procedure. What other kind of mushrooms can SWIM cultivate in brf jars that can be cultivate like the p. cub.? Thank you.

When you dissolve the spores in water, do you let it sit for a couple of days before you inoculate? IME, most spores that you buy are too dry.

For six months i have been constantly failing at the same thing. just recently someone expierienced watched what i was doing and told me that the main problem was that i need to put in way more water in the substrate. after it was cooked it was really juicy and white hawaian friends have appeared for the first time
