I just hate seeing mushrooms and other entheogens that I find sacred being demonized and the people that use them called drug addicts and criminals. I wish we could see a change in society where individual freedoms actually mattered. Do any of you nexians ever get tired of the ignorance?

For me it was like this:

Drugs are bad, mkay ?

Oh wait what? They're not all that bad?

Huh some are great?

What is all this propaganda!? I'm so pissed off!

RAAAAGH IT'S ALL F*CKED UP!!!

Armchair activist time! RANT RANT RANT..........RANT.....rant.... rant... getting tired... rant....

...bored...

F it I don't care.

Just don't get caught

I think it's a game, and there's a nice living to be made in waking people up. Go spread the word, make it your life's aim, be the change you want to see..If you can put that energy behind your views you may have a bright future ahead of you.😉

I have made it my point to open peoples' minds when ever I can. When I discovered psychedelics I felt like I was privy to so much more experience and life than the average person. For a time I hid everything at all cost, paranoid and afraid. It took a little time and I realized it is a very special and important thing, and it deserves to be spread where ever it can. So that's what I do, but only with my closest friends who I can trust. I have realized after putting myself out there how many other people have actually experienced such things, or are willing to try it.

So many people live their lives in this half conscious daze. In the past few years, I feel as though I have woken up, and want to help others to, as well. The most important thing is to get them to think! They just need to start thinking. When it comes to "banned" substances, and I am at risk of being locked away for my beliefs, then so be it. I'd be no different than any other marginalized people who were locked away for being peaceful.

Mr.Peabody I love your response because this is how I feel on the subject. I think the world is going to come to an awakening in the future and it will be better for everyone. I can honestly say I have vastly benefited from my use of psychedelics and I'm healthier than Ive ever been. Why would I hide a non violent, non health deteriorating use of a substance that benefits me? Thats why I hide it no more.

I feel the same way, though I have to say I am very cautious who I talk to about psychedelics. You would be surprised to see how many people are lulled into believing all sorts of "Reefer Madness" type blatant lies. I believe that there is a lot more awareness these days though, thanks to advances in research and therapy, so hopefully someday the masses won't be fed this fear-mongering anymore.

The legalization of marijuana is a huge step towards getting other beneficial entheogens legalized. Its really just a basic human right to be able to ingest what they want. I'm actually being charged right now with marijuana charges and I find it completely ludicrous that I'm being compared as a criminal like murderers and thief's. I'm a criminal because I live a lifestyle they don't want me too.

Agreed. I'm also being charged on possession of marijuana and the thing I want to do so badly is ask the judge, "what wrong have I done, who have I harmed, which person did I steal from or disrespect." I have been nothing but kind, loving, and helpful to all people I encounter, and this has become a part of me through use of psychedelics. What the people in charge do not understand is the importance of one discovering their own moral values. They are afraid of the people, they need to control the people, like sheep in a herd we are stupid, and dangerous if we realize the importance of the individual. What this society takes from us is the spiritual journey, without freedom to explore all states of consciousness we become delusional, working, commercial machines. What is the purpose of prosperity if its cost is enlightenment and truth. I am not a cog in this system of production, I am an intelligent and spiritual conscious being.

i can't, for the life of me, understand this irrational hatred toward these substances.
i hope you guys get cleared of the weed charges, take care..

I feel your pain friend. Almost no one in my life understands it. Then again, no one in my life partakes. I am sure their perception would change.

Just keep on following your heart my friend.
