My 'Art'

[Purges]

I draw for a bit of fun. Also customise lighters and such. I definitely don't pretend to be an artist, and consider my work kind of childish, which deep down, I guess I am, so to that end it is self expression. I'm rambling. Here is my "Art" - inspired by psychedelics and what ever came out of the end of my pencil.

And this is based on an entity (well pair actually) that I met in Hyperspace. take away all the colour and you are half way there. Not massively friendly these guys, I have to say.

The entity has the color of some entities/jesters I met in the hyperspace, they usually come and go very quickly but the color of their bodies is obvious, take a look at my avatar.

I think you definitely have what it takes to call yourself an artist, my friend. That stuff looks really nice. Bit of advice: Take yourself and your artistic vision seriously, spend more time with your creations, use better media, etc etc and you could have a gallery show one of these days...

Yeah these were monochrome jester like entities which just sort of popped out of the grid, it looked as if they were shooing me away :? Either way, I felt compelled to draw one when I came back.

OD thanks for the kind words and advice I hadn't really thought about a 'vision', maybe that needs looking at, possibly musically as well... I just like drawing abstract, weird stuff for my own amusement at the moment tbh but if it goes some where that would be cool. I might start having a fiddle with photoshop again as well...

tele, purges, yes, i've seen something like that too, I called him the prisoner clown. He was more close to a cartoon prisoner in the black and white stripey uniform but with INTENSE eyes and a manic expression, but he was my friend. And there you have it purges, this is good stuff, it has evoked my memory!

Coming from such a talented guy that is a massive compliment :d I will keep going with my art, there are a few more entities I need to try and recreate. Think I will focus on detail and make my drawings a little neater from now on though.

the last one is nice ,

try using water colours , they are cheap and infact even superior then oil paints incase of brightness and a quality of surreality that can be achieved with water colours

i am starting to learn to use oil paints , but i am lazy and have'nt still gotten around to the learning part

you have potential but without using water colours , the artwork will only look childish
try water colours , you'll not be dissapointed
