My first NEG. experience

recent drug use: Tramadol, 2 50mg doses an hour apart 6-7 hours before DMT dose, a 20mg DMT dose 5 hours before this DMT dose and 1-2 hours after tramadol. The first dose was a very fun and pos. one
last meal: Chicken Noodle Soup around 8pm

REPORT

Right before I exhaled I noticed it wasnt building up strong like usual. After exhale I also noticed it still wasnt hitting me very strong. It took awhile to come on. Right after exhaling I started to have a negative thought/sensation enter my mind. Not a specific one. Just the general feeling. I tried to make it go away, or morph into positive feelings. Thats when it all started.

It had a slow onset, very little anxiety if any. I noticed right away this was much different than all my other experiences. I felt like something was wrong. Thoughts that i had done something wrong or that something had gone wrong were filling my mind. not so much "filling" as just entering. None of this was overwhelming, more like an observation of it happening.

Lots of black, very reminiscent of the banner I am posting below. This was kind of like the style of my visuals. Lots of black, with small amounts of colors like reds yellows blues and green. i remember yellow was more dominant than the other colors but no where near as dominant as black. The black was a color, not an absence of color, not an abyss, but the color of most of the surfaces and shapes and designs that I could see. Nothing fully formed.

A main entity was present in all this. He was angry, trying to intimidate I think, trying to scare. I was surprised by everything that was happening, I held on though. This entity was unhappy with me or that i was there or something like that. This was an evil like entity. Showing me things that were suppose to be scary or bad. I kind of remember cartoonish like evil dogs or hounds with spike collars. The dogs were cartoonish, mainly black and some yellows. Spikes were white with thick black outline. Other images similar that were of scary things.

My body high was mainly in my face. Almost no sensation on the rest of my body, I was fully aware of the rest of my body, body load was almost non-existent Mostly the area around my mouth, slightly on the bridge of my nose. My mouth felt as if it were held open. The physical body high feeling was kind of like a pressure. Stopped below my eyes and above my throat. Mostly around my mouth and cheeks.

Sounds were of a digitalized drip drop. kind of. Almost metallic like ting or something. Hard to explain. It was spaced out like the dripping from a sink. the sound had a few different tones and was repetitive.

Towards the end, which felt like quite a lot longer than usual, I had the thought that maybe this entity was my fear realized. Upon me having this thought I had a sensation come over me that made me think that my realization was confirmed somehow. Just a light flush over my body and face. The visuals decreased faster than the physical sensations. I just laid there longer than usual observing the whole thing. I will add more if I remember anything

This is another report to add to the list of "darkness" reports... I made one a few weeks back - Dark freaky experience with Changa... - DMT Experiences - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus
I am really going to have to do a thorough sifting through of old trip reports to make a more estimated assumption regarding these experiences. My feeling is that they are, and I want to understand it as this seems more and more like a reliable "darkside" of DMT that has been hitherto not largely discussed. I know what you mean exactly when you say that the darkness wasn't a void, that it was actually the substance that this part of hyperspace is made of. It seems to be a similar texture and mode of motion as "normal" hyperspace, but the gestalt is way different. It's sinister, vindictive, or at least oppressive (or it was for me).

I know the feeling of a misfired DMT trip... you can just tell on the come-up that something is really wrong. The feeling of being on the gallows. The feeling of being pushed over the edge. It's a very heavy feeling. I am beginning to think that this is just a part of hyperspace... there is a flipside to the coin, the black magic and possession side...

Yellow and black usually signify deadly toxins in the animal kingdom.

Do you have any more conclusions? I am really starting to get an eery feeling about this, that maybe there is some reason that these trips are happening... especially after reading another recent report about this "Darkness" coming in and consuming the "normal" hyperspace... I really need to do that sifting and start writing something about this. It is something that probably concerns us all as DMT users, people need to know.

Well I'd like to touch base on one of my earlier theories. Set and setting are always important when it comes to psychedelics. The set and settings for DMT is mostly in your head. Now I have noticed that the last few thoughts before actually sitting down and commiting to dosing are extremely important. Examples:

My 40mg dose. Right before the sit down I said this to the sitters. "all of my dmt experiences so far I laughed while I was in. i hope all my experiences will be like this. Now two things. A new person was in the room that I know fairly well but hadn't seen in a long while. And I was placing expectations on my trip right before going in. What happened during the trip because of this? I ended up feeling as if I wasn't fulfilling my expectations and therefore I was concentrating on whether I was smiling or not. I felt too serious and I felt like I was being judged.

A 25mg dose right after my girlfriend dosed. She told me about seeing the third eye from the band tool. Alex Greys artwork. I ended up seeing multiples of this same eye during this dose.

My neg dose. I had planned this dose hours before hand. I had also planned that after I dose I was going to go smoke a cigarette and then goto bed. The important part is hat I quit smoking a year ago and just I the last few weeks starting accidentally picking up the habit again. It's funny that you say te colors black and yellow symbolize poison in the animal world. I have a very strong mindset of how "poisonous" cigarettes are and how I can feel the poison in my body after smoking since I have been clean of cigarettes for so long.

I seriously think that your mind plays a huge role in the DMT visions. My early theory that I still hold into as plausible is that the pre-breakthrough experiences is you inhabiting your mind in some way. In this place I have seen so many attributes of myself that I am changin about myself. Bad habits ect. I strongly feel this is the reason certain things have been a part of my experience on DMT. I had strong thoughts of that cigarette on my mind before dosing.

To the above post: When your mind is the only thing that you're left with when "completely out there" sure it's the biggest factor.

What I mean is I think there is more to it. It seems to me that your mind is more open to suggestion. Almost like its easier to reprogram.

Hope your doin' well, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents on the matter....

I'm not a cigarette smoker myself but I worked in a cigarette store for a while...

I know the higher beings of the spirit world view tobacco as a sort of bastardization of a sacred plant sort of like cocaine of heroin which is viewed in a similar fashion by them..


I have heard a few stories and also have been witness to some incidents where people on DMT or Ayahuasca had very bad/demonic like experiences that seemed to be directly related to cigarette addiction in one way or another....

Why does this happen? I will tell you my opinion on it and you can take it into consideration if you like.

In my particular system of observations, which is based on my own psychedelic experiences as well as from studying various ancient scriptures..

IMHO the spirit world(therefore our world as well) operates in strict accordance with it's own concise set of rules and guidelines.

For illustrative purposes, picture the spirit world as a court of law.....
In this celestial court each human is constantly on trial so to speak.....

As in a regular court of law each person is represented by an advocating spirit, this spirit is the proverbial guardian angel on the shoulder, this "angelic" spirit is present from the time of the humans birth and it's number one duty is to protect, council and defend the human during the ongoing spiritual trial of that persons life.

As you might assume there is not only a defender and an advocate but there is also a antagonist as well. Satan is a Word that's literal meanings include, the accuser and to turn away. The being known as Satan constantly acts as a prosecuting attorney against the person, The job of Satan is to constantly bring accusations against the human in an effort to stir up the wrath of judgment and hopefully win a verdict of punishment against the human.

As we are familiar with the saying ignorance of the law is not equal exemption from the law. And this is true to some degree in the high celestial court. Unlike Earthly court however, In the spirit world courtroom the advantage does decidedly and ultimately belong to the defendant. This is because the foundation of all creation is mercy, and the concepts of mercy, compassion, understanding and empathy supersede all other directives....

So in spiritual court the burden of prove falls upon the prosecuting attorney and not the defendant. The prosecutor in this case is quite over zealous however and the "judge" is also well aware of this fact and takes it into consideration when delivering any sort of judgement.
But every once in a while the prosecutor has a solid argument against the person for which the defense fails to defend against....or else there is "no contest" against the charges levied towards the person.

So....as you might have guessed addiction itself is a violation of some of the laws of the spirit world and so being addicted to an abominable substance is a heavier still violation...

The other thing that tend to make the judgment more severe is when a human commits a violation of a rule when they know it is wrong. Then the you didn't know better plead for leniency goes out the window.

My guess is that in your case the prosecutor was able to convince the judge to "let the dogs loose" on you based on your choice to not follow through with quitting your addiction and there was nothing your advocating defender could do to stop it because you were just plain too guilty.

So....this is just my opinion on it,I'm not trying to make any spiritual judgments or anything just relating that I have been through similar things countless times and this info seemed to go a long was towards helping me understand why these things kept happening. So I just thought I would run it by you and give you a bit of food for thought..

That's awesome. Really puts a lot of it into context. I would like to add that I as well "feel" guilty for picking up cigarettes again. And every time I smoke I can tell I shouldn't be. I only had one yesterday and starting today I am not going to have anymore.

I would only suggest though, that there be many different reasons for my "bad trip". The most compelling for me is the fact that my body high was located specifically on the area I always end up focusing in. My face. Your face is the most used for recognition of emotional expression. Beings that I'm always conscious atleast partially of what my facial expression is and how others are viewing it, added to the fact that during this trip my face was the location of the entire body high. It makes me feel as if I was being shown two things.

My thoughts on others judging me is my fear of not being adequate. And I really feel like the DMT is showing me how to let go in order to have a breakthrough. The fairies taught me how to let go and were trying to tell me what I was doing wrong. This guy specifically was showing me what I was doing wrong. Everything in this experience I should be leaving at home. I should not be worried about things on this plane of existence and taking that fear with me to hyperspace.
