N-oxide solubility in water and DMT from DMT-N-oxide separation with H2O

If someone had obtained a "full spectrum" extraction with xylene containing DMT and its N-oxide, could plain distillied water be used for extracting the N-oxide from the mix?

Looks like you'd be better off washing the freebase with acetone. Collect the acetone and evaporate to retrieve (slightly purer) crude DMT freebase goo.

You would need to base your full spectrum xylene-pulled acetate with sodium carbonate paste and dry it out thoroughly before pulling with the acetone.
