Naphtha is disappearing!!! Now what?

SWIM is doing the Q21Q21 no-lye tek with 500g MHRB. Put about 400 ml of Naphtha in, and the MHRB soaked it up. Only got a few tablespoons out!

Is the base too dry? It is a dry-mud texture, easy to stir, clumps easily. SWIM added the Naphtha and it got really sloppy.

How to get the Naphtha out? This is too large an amount to mess it up!

Last time SWIM did this tek, she only got .05% yield. Can't have that again. Same thing that time - the Naptha from the first pull never came out.

Please help!? SWIM is a great admirer of Traditional Entheogenic Knowledge, and has much respect for it. She's always telling me how she'd love to master it.

You definitely need to add a lot more base. A little lye never hurt anyone. (oh wait)

if there was no spillage, there should be no loss!

You can go at 2 routes:

Try adding more LIME (not lye) and some water if it gets dry. mix it well. If none comse out then that isn't too surprising since it evaporates really fast.

Once the mix is nice and base-y then it should seperate the bark and naptha better. The tek is a little bit of a naptha hog, try using 600ml if that doesn't work.
