Naphtha

Ok this is my first post so ...
SWIM found a solvent witch says it is light "hydrogenated or hydrotreated i cannot translate accurately "? odorlesss naphtha evaporation test was ok (it doesn't say exactly ingredient's though) (maybe it contains benzene) is this ok to use it is sold as a cloth cleaner.(lazyman's tek)
and how much time will 200ml of light naphtha take to evap aproximately?

could be usefull if there could be some country specific clues though
EINECS number of the solvent is : 265-151-9

Regular naptha evaps about 100ml per 30-40mins under a fan, and swim believes the light hydrocarbons are the ones to use.

Is SWIMs question stupid or you need aditional info ?

I don't think anyone can give a definite answer based on the given information. If it evaporated cleanly and separates from water, SWIM would try using it on a small batch.

i found also the cas number it is 64742-49-0

From what I can see your naptha is fine, an MSDS for the cas no above shows this.
