are there any methods of extracting DMT that don't require the use of chemicals? (naoh, naphtha, acetone, etc)
any way to use like.. citric acid from fruit or..
i cant think of a base but..
yea..
any ideas?

or...
if not an extraction, what about a concentration

..such techniques would require a lot of experimentation and careful observation.
..one could use heated water (with vodka, ethanol optional would increase yield)..citric or acetic acidification..lime or crushed snail shell basification..
and non-polar extraction with d-limonine (oil of orange) or inert oil...

Well water is actually a chemical, so i think it might be difficult to perform an extraction without at least a few chems. There is a water only tek but as far as i know there have been only poor results besides from the creator of the tek. I think what you may be looking for is a food safe tek like what JilPil mentioned.

I find that as long as you are careful with your procedure and have clean solvents, a really safe product may be made. You have to be really sloppy to take any base soup along with your NP solvent. It's up to you though, buddy. If you feel safer and happier to use Calcium Hydroxide and Limonene (orange oil), then by all means go for it! Limonene is really expensive where i live, so i stick to what i can get. Good luck!

There is a whole eco-friendly sub-forum actually.

I just posted a tek there that uses only sodium carbonate (which can be made from baking soda with an oven) and isopropyl alcohol to obtain freebase spice.

i know dmt is a chemical as is water.
i added the parenthesis so that one would understand my meaning. :(
thank you for the food safe link
