Hi all members,

Today I implemented the first part of the new layout. Instead of the old 'liquid' design we move to a centered and fixed one that will hopefully make the forum better to read.

Even though the old liquid design was nice, it had the tendency to make the forum look sloppy, especially in different resolutions.

Of course a big chance like this means that there are still layout 'features' ;) that needs to be fixed. If you see any layout error then please post it in this thread or send me a PM.

I hope you all like it.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

p.s. it might be that you have to force reload the page to see everything correctly, you can do this by pressing Ctrl+F5. The reason for this is that many browsers cache several files, including the CSS markup file.

Is the "Active Topics" screen supposed to look like it does? I think this may be one of the features you spoke of! ;)

House, the CSS file is not yet reloaded with you. Can you try to reload the page again? You can even try just F5.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Known layout 'features':

* User profile
* Post a reply/new thread
* Attach

I will start working on this when I get back home tonight.

Hi, Traveler ,i was wondering,will there be a way to change to the old liquid layout for those who prefered it ? Or not ? It would be nice to have the option.

Thanks

for me it also looks like what house showed (also with chrome) I don't know where the "block site data" option is... do you know what it's called in spanish? *sigh*

I like that the header and footer are centered now, it looks more organized and cleaner.

Isn't there a way you can have the pages dynamically expand and shrink with the browser window dimensions? I've got more unused space than actual information on my screen.

I'll never understand why a lot of new and updated sites are fixed at a single width. I understand the banner limits how far you can shrink anyway, but why not allow expansion? :? Are you planning on implementing dynamic width?

I don't understand the choice.

"Under the hood" / block site data

Herramientas > Opciones > Avanzada > Privacidad > Click en "Configuración del Contenido" > Bloquear los datos de sitios y las cookies de terceros

Cierra Chrome, ingresa con tu cuenta a DMT Nexus y presiona F5.

Time showing up first on the listing doesn't make sense to me and the stacking of post information makes it far more confusing to read for me. I prefer the old layout, and hopefully there will be an option to use it.
