Has anyone else come across blends of herbs sold as incense called K2 or Serenity Now? It is legal and sold in many smoke shops across the US. It is only illegal in Kansas.
SWIM has smoked the K2 and was actually pretty surprised by the similarity to MJ. He, as well as myself, are very interested in others' takes on these herbs.
The back of the package reads as such:

Contains a proprietary blend of herbs and extracts including:

Canavalia rosea, Clematis vitalba, Nelumbo nucifera, and Ledum palustre.

NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

FOR AROMATHERAPY USE ONLY

Manufactured in Peru

those are not the active ingredients though. they have designer canibinoids in them.... or some such thingy....

Isn't Nelumbo nucifera blue lotus? Very special plant, that.

Like dorge said, all the "legal" highs that actually work are not active due to the herbs. They contain synthetic cannabinoid agonists (JWH- or CP- compounds).

Personally I despise the manufacturers who represent these products as herbal blends. I believe people ought to have the right to at least know what drug they're taking, and at what dosage.

SWIM has tried the K2 on a number of occasions, and gets super-paranoid for 2 hours. SWIM doesn't know why, because natural cannabis does not have this effect.

I guess by saying 'NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION,' they feel justified in not telling you its got JWH-018 in it on the package.

I agree with you 100%. I figured that these chemicals were not endogenous to these herbs, but I figure I'd ask here.
Are there any known negative side effects due to synthetic cannabinoid agonists?
