Newbie at 52 needs advice

Hello fellows. I've no actual chemistry background. I did an STB and have had varying results, ie, from nothing to a few small crystals to a moist white aggregate to oily to a crystal-like deposit less moist at slightly clumpy. I tried the sandwich method, and had psilocybin like visuals for maybe 1, 2 minutes. Fairly uncomfortable, physically. Not at all desirable, so potential remains? I don't gave access to a ph strip or oil burner til next week. Should I just freeze til then? I don't know if it needs distilled vinegar for the oil content, or more sodium hydroxide to up the ph, or something other than naphtha, etc.
Thanks

Hello friend. Soon enough one of the real chemists may be along to give advice. For now I would just say listen to your instinct. If it feels like your product is not clean, gives undesirable results or may be otherwise compromised, definitely put it on hold until you gain more knowledge.

It sounds like you are producing DMT, but it's definitely not an enterprise that favours uncertainty when putting a substance in your blood.

Hi there and welcome,

To help you out it would be helpful if you could share some more details on the exact process you followed. So ingredients, amounts, volumes, timeline of your process, the more details the better we can troubleshoot.

Welcome to your middle-life-crisis, you are in good company  Remember there is no rush to reach the peak, getting everything in place takes time, it's taken me a good few months to get to a point where I'm feeling happier to go a little deeper.
If you journal your experiences it makes it easier to find what works for you and to tweak your processes.... and of course its a good place to write your experiences down from the place of beauty and calm (after the rocket launch)!
