Not quite there... but close.

So after my first two small scale extractions from ACRB, I was left with quite a bit of spice to get my feet wet and share with my friends.

The first few days I toyed around with small doses, somewhere between 10-25mgs. In the 10-15mg range I experienced trips similar to that of a mushroom trip. The room came alive, everything was breathing, ect. The 20-25mg doses were more similar to an acid trip visually, but had a much heavier body load.

Finally after toying around for a few days, I decided I was ready to break through. I loaded ~50mg into my machine, and took 2 large tokes. I was almost convinced I was going to break through because of the overwhelming sensory overload and an overall feeling of "blasting off." Unfortunately, I did not, but I certainly was in hyperspace. This was the first time I really understood what that meant. My experience is cloudy and hard to completely recall, but I had an overwhelming feeling that I was existing in a different dimension. It was beautiful, but I was still somewhat grounded in reality.

Since then I have tried 3 or 4 times to break through with doses between 50-60mg and had similar experiences to the one I previously described. I have had some overwhelming CEV, loss awareness of my body, but never felt like I completely broke through to the other side. I'm not sure if it is just my smoking tek, or that I need a higher dose. Any help from more experienced travelers would be more than appreciated.

I wonder how long you're holding it down for, long as you can seems to be key.

I would suggest that you work on your "smoking tek" with lower doses !
From your previous post i know that you use "a crude machine from a glass turkey baster".
It would be informativ to know how your piece looks. The Machine - DMT-Nexus Wiki

Alternativ you could:

1.Buy Vaporizers like the VaporGenie,GlassVaporGenie.
2.Use a Bong/Pipe with this Bye-Bye Choreboy - Vaping/Smoking - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus.
3.Make some Changa(DMT infused plant matter with MAOIs) or just plain DMT infused leafs. Easy way to smoke DMT with great effects in the bong.
4.Ingest DMT orale (ayahuasca,pharmahuasca)

Well the first day I was experimenting with the spice I extracted I was using the turkey baster, but since then I have been using a machine based on the original model with a mini Hennessy bottle and steel wool. It has been working far better than my previous one. I still cannot seem to completely break through though. I get to a point where I basically cannot physically take any more hits and yet I still don't quite get there. I think I might get my girlfriend to assist me next time with holding the machine and the lighter so all I have to concentrate on is hitting it. The strange thing is, she broke through her first time with a 40mg dose out of my machine. At least I know it isn't my spice. I suppose it is also possible that I am thinking to hard about trying to break through instead of just letting it happen.

I'm also planning on making some 1:1 enhanced leaf with peppermint. I keep reading that changa and enhanced leaf are the way to go. Again I appreciate the replies, and any more advice would be much appreciated!

*update*

Okay so something very strange happened tonight. Two of my friends came and visited me and were both interested in blasting off. Once they finally worked up the courage, I loaded up 30mg in my machine for each of them and assisted their flight into hyperspace. One of them didn't make it because the vapors tickled his throat too much and he coughed through each hit. The other blasted off into a room and was bounced off the walls to the sweet sounds of Guthrie Govan. After my two friends took their hits, I decided to try and clear the residual spice from my machine. I took one big long drag and held it in as long as I possibly could. I was not expecting what was going to happen next. I was completely overwhelmed. My body felt insane like it was vibrating and being shot through a cannon. I was then taken to a purple room. The experience didn't last very long, but this was definitely a breakthrough of sorts. I was no longer in this reality. I felt like I was dying. I could feel the presence of what seemed like a female entity in this room, but it was hard to explore with the extreme body load. Eventually I started coming back to reality. I was astonished. Ive never been that far gone. Honestly it was completely horrifying, but by the time I returned to reality all I could do was laugh in disbelief. I suppose it is also worth noting that I was slightly drunk when this happened. I have heard people saying not to mix the two and I can see why.

Definitely take some time to work on your smoking tek. 50-60mg is a pretty heavy dose, and if you're only getting marginal effects, its most likely your technique. You may be burning it or something. Getting your girlfriend to help you light it is a good idea for sure. If that machine really isn't working after a few tries, I'd suggest looking into making Changa/enhanced leaf (as others before me have said). It really makes it simple to pass the threshold everytime.

Sounds like your latest attempt has gotten you closer! Keep working on it and you'll get the swing of it.
Also, Guthrie Govan...... yes.

None of us are even considering the option that sometimes a blast off doesn't happen, not because of the smoking tek or the dosage, but a rejection from the hyperspace and their entities, regardless of the amount of dmt in your body, the hyperspace belongs to them, and if they consider you're not ready for a blast off or your intentions aren't the right ones, they will stop your experience, or at least put a "limit" to it. i know it sounds a little crazy to talk about entities like that but i'm merely projecting what i see for hyperspace and how it "works".

And thanks everyone else for your help. I would love to buy a GVG if I had the money. Hopefully I will in a few weeks. I actually just finished making some 1:1 enhanced leaf with peppermint. I'm going to probably give it a try sometime today or tomorrow. I'll let you all know my results. Just to be clear, if I want to measure out a 30mg dose of spice, I would use 60mg of the leaf? Seems like it would make sense.

Also Jaigurudevaom42, this is something I have definitely considered. The experience I had last night honestly makes me believe this even more. I do not feel as if I have bad intentions, but I have been trying to break through almost every day since my first extraction and maybe I have been pushing my limits. The first night I truly felt like I left this dimension, I tried again to blast off not to shortly after and was absolutely rejected from hyperspace. I was left with an extremely uncomfortable body load and I heard laughing. My girlfriend was in the room with me when this happened and confirmed that the laughing was not coming from anywhere in the house. It definitely seems as if the spice has a mind of it's own.
