One River

Migrated topic.
One River by Wade Davis is one of my favorite books about ethnobotanical researchers. Its a story of Richard Evans Schultes and his students as told by one of his students. Its a nice balance of science and story telling. It has a passage describing a valley in the Amazon rain forest with the most concentrated density of psychoactive plant species in the world. Would like to go there one day (if its not already cut down). Its a beautiful and sad story. Highly recommended. Anyone read it?
